The TMG-RM40 Jumping Jack Tamping Rammer is built for compacting cohesive and granular soils during trench backfill, foundation preparation and other work in limited-access areas. Its narrow profile allows it to operate close to walls, inside excavations and wherever larger equipment is difficult to use.
Powered by a Honda GX100 engine, the RM40 delivers up to 2920 lb of impact force through a high-frequency tamping action. Power is transferred through the compact ramming shoe, concentrating each stroke into a small working area and helping create a firm, even base. Its manageable design also gives the operator better control when moving through trenches or repositioning the machine around the jobsite.
The result is a capable, easy-to-handle rammer that can be transported efficiently between work areas. It offers a practical alternative when the size and width of conventional compaction equipment would make the job more difficult.
TMG also carries these models: TMG-RM80, TMG-RM90 and TMG-RM32
