The TMG-GSC12 Sod Cutter is designed to make removing established turf faster and more manageable. It cuts beneath the root layer to separate the sod from the soil, reducing the effort required to cut and lift it by hand.
Its self-propelled drive maintains steady forward movement while the blade works below the surface. The operator can adjust the cutting depth and travel pace to suit the turf, providing greater control throughout each pass. Power comes from a Kohler CH270 engine that drives both the blade and travel system.
Whether the sod is being reused or the ground is being cleared for a new project, the TMG-GSC12 produces manageable strips that are easier to lift and move. Its walk-behind design gives contractors, grounds crews and property owners a practical way to complete turf-removal work more efficiently.
